A THEATRE is on the hunt for a new chair of trustees.
The Regal, Tenbury Wells, is searching for a new volunteer chair of trustees this summer as the current chair, Jane Allen, plans to retire from the voluntary position in September.
The chair of trustees is an important leadership role at the Regal and the vacancy offers a local individual the chance to help secure a sustainable future for this much-admired arts facility.
The new chair will be working alongside the 12 members of the board, as well as with the Regal’s team of staff and volunteers. The board is on the lookout for someone with the experience and flair to play a significant role in taking the theatre forward into the next chapter of the Regal’s long history.
The Regal Trust works closely with members of Tenbury Town Council who own the building, and with other local community leaders.
Applications are now open for this voluntary role, with applications closing on August 15, 2024. Interviews will take place in early September.
