NEW plans have been submitted to convert a former shop building in Tenbury after plans to make it into a home were refused.
An application to convert the building in Westview terrace into a two-storey, two bed home was submitted to Malvern Hills District Council earlier this year.
A design and access statement said the property was previously used as a storeroom for GH Bowkett Ltd, but is no longer in use.
But planners said a proposed dormer window would be "incongruous" and harm the street scene, while overlooking windows would cause an "unacceptable" loss of privacy for neighbours and refused the application.
Now new plans have been submitted to the council to convert the building into an office space with a kitchenette, store, and toilet.
A design and access statement said the office will have the same footprint as the existing building, but there will be some changes to windows and the position of doors.
