A characterful pub near Ludlow, which dates back to the 17th century has been put on the market.

The Roebuck Inn based in Brimfield, between Leominster and Ludlow has been put on the market by estate agents Sidney Phillips, with an asking price of £295,000.

The agents have said the currently closed pub was previously at "the heart of the community" and is a property of "immense character".

The Grade II listed pub is described as having excellent trade accommodation, including three ensuite letting bedrooms and a separate four-bedroom owners accommodation.

Internally, the pub also boasts a main bar, complete with characterful parquet flooring and a two-section split-level lounge bar, which can cater for up to 30 dinners.

Along with the two character bars, the pub offers a separate restaurant and café area, as well as "extensive catering kitchens" which are located to the rear of the property.

Externally the agents have said the site offers a suitable gardens which when fully furnished can accommodate an extra 40 customers.
