A Shropshire employability service is celebrating 30 years of helping locals achieve their dreams, and is marking the occasion with a series of special events.
Enable, a leading provider of supported employment services in Shropshire, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this September and will be hosting three days of activities at the Darwin Shopping Centre.
The events include a Reverse Jobs Fair on September 2, where businesses can meet Enable’s clients who are ready and eager to work and find the right person for your vacancy, a Training Provider Roadshow on September 14, where visitors can find out about local training options, and an Employers Job Fair on September 25, where visitors can get advice from local employers.
The Shropshire council service has been helping people with disabilities and mental health needs to find and keep meaningful jobs since 1994.
The council has said that the organisation has “grown and diversified over the years”, now offering a vast range of services.
Sarah Harley, Enable’s Business Development Officer, added: “We are very proud of what we have accomplished in the past 30 years and we are excited to share it with the community.
“We invite everyone to join us at the Darwin Shopping Centre and learn more about how we can support them or their business with employment-related matters”.
