Pioneering British folk rockers Fairport Convention will be coming to Tenbury this Autumn, as part of their nationwide tour.

Fairport Convention will be visiting The Regal on October 18, with the group celebrating 57 years in the business- it's a show you wouldn't want to miss.

The group promises to provide an eclectic and unique evening. With the group having specially curated repertoire from both albums old and new, the performances are set to be jam-packed full of fan favourites and a few new surprises along the way.

Whilst Fairport Convention has seen many changes over the years, one thing has remained the same - their passion for performance.

This year's line-up features Simon Nicol on guitar and vocals, Dave Pegg on bass guitar and vocals, Ric Sanders on violin, Chris Leslie on bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and vocals.

As the four chaps continue to carry on the "Fairport baton", they prove to be Fairport's most consistent and long-lasting line up, going strong for 28 years.
