A HUGELY popular Tenbury annual event is making its return at the weekend.
Tenbury Applefest, which last year saw a turnout of more than 1,600, returns to The Burgage on Saturday, October 5, with gates opening from 10am.
Organisers said there will be an incredible 88 different stalls at this year's event.
There will be plenty to choose from for those feeling a little peckish, with some new catering stalls and some old favourites joining them for the day.
These will include the Bridge pub, Sub Shack, Pizza Girls, Mukaase Food, the Apple Box, Lalita's Indian Street Food, Faulkener Pig Roast, The Peaky Grinder, and Rupert Mole Crepes.
Visitors will also be treated to entertainment from Grey Wold, the Almshouse All Stars, Larger than Life, Rotundas, Blue Moon, Teme Valley Band, and the Leominster Morris.
Favourite attractions making a return include the ever-popular alpacas, Twit Twoo falconry, face painting, and more.
The apple theme will, as ever, be at the fore of the event, with Appleteme, the Marcher Apple Network and Millenium Orchard, and FP Matthews on hand for apple juicing and advice. The main tent will again be home to an amazing display of apples supplied and arranged by Frank P Matthews.
A wonderful exhibit from local knitters Knit and Natter will also be on display at the event, with a donation box to raise funds towards the Tenbury Christmas lights.
The event is dog-friendly and suitable for the whole family.
