A Ludlow care home is in the running for two prestigious national awards.
Hendra House Residental Home has been shortlisted in both the Care Home of The Year and Commitment to Training and Development categories at the seventh annual Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.
Caring UK Awards event director Dominic Musgrave said: “The Caring UK Awards are now in their seventh year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each.”
Home owner Vince Burmingham said: “To be nominated is a great achievement and recognises the quality of service delivered to our residents by our amazing staff team.”
In each category up to seven finalists have been selected and they will now go through to the next stage of the judging process. The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on Thursday, December 5.
