A woman has been left with potentially serious injuries after a crash on a major road, with Tenbury firefighters called to the scene.
Firefighters from Leominster and Tenbury Wells joined police and ambulance crews at the scene on October 13, on the A49 near Woodstock Lane in Brimfield.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service has said that a passing ambulance came across a two-car collision at 7.28 pm.
The driver of one car, a woman, was treated on scene for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further care. A second patient was discharged on scene.
Police officers and fire crews were called to the crash at around 7.30 pm.
A police spokesperson said officers arrived at the incident to find the two vehicles involved, with one driving suffering injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Traffic around the major A-road was slow and congested after the incident, with the road partially blocked or at a standstill for some time.
