A second Super Sunday Clean up event has been organised to show Ludlow some love.
Following September's hugely successful Clean Up event, a repeat will be happening on Sunday, November 17 to make sure the town is looking spruced up and sparkling ready for the Winter Festival the following weekend.
The team of volunteers will meet outside Taste At No 1 near the Buttercross at 11 am ready with their mops and buckets, brushes and brooms before heading off around the town for a second clean-up session.
In September volunteers met at Bill's Kitchen to collect cleaning equipment donated by Homecare and then worked their way around the town to finish at Ludlow Brewery.
Ludlow’s Pride of Place litter-pickers will have been out on their regular monthly pick on Saturday, November 16 but there will still be shop-fronts and windows which need TLC and the Regeneration volunteers will help to provide that across the town.
“The Super Sundays were a success from the start,” Carmel Wilson, who joint-leads the Regeneration Group, whose members are passionate about the regeneration of the town and strive to make a positive impact in the community, said. “What our team of volunteers do adds to the regular Pride of Place litter pick and each event shows just how much people care about their town and showing it in the best light possible.”
Anyone wishing to join the Super Sunday team can simply turn up on the day.
