Teme Valley Monday Club: A large number of members and visitors attended the second meeting of the winter season at the Royal Oak in Tenbury.
In an illustrated address entitled Unusual Tenbury, Howard Miller, the secretary of the historical society, ranged over an immense period, spanning Roman times to Victorian days.
The club is due to meet again next Monday, when Colin Bowden will make a return visit with a talk entitled New York, New York.
