MINCE pies, mulled wine (or fruit juice, if you prefer) will be on the menu at next Wednesday's preview of Tim Wood's Christmas exhibition at his Old Surgery Gallery, in Clun.

In true festive spirit, the show includes many of the gallery's favourites.

Marion Minton, who had only one picture left unsold after her summer exhibition, is hoping for even better luck this time with a new series of watercolours.

Paul Hipkiss, who arranges exhibitions for the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, will show for the third time this year in Clun.

Tim Nash returns with watercolours of Clun and Noel Shepherdson will hang up snow scenes of around the town and sell his own Christmas cards.

Other Old Surgery regulars are Jacqueline Fletcher, Keith Noble, Richard Moult, Keith Pointon, Pauline Kiteley and Gordon Yapp.

The show continues seven days a week, except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, until January 9.
