LUDLOW paid the penalty for missing their chances when they lost narrowly against the Adders in the Coaching Solution League.
The visitors shrugged off the late withdrawal of players, which also led to a late arrival and looked quite at home on the strange water-based pitch. They pushed a strong home team back and forced numerous penalty corners, all to no avail.
The home team was further hampered when a player was sent off for dangerous play but still Ludlow could not find a way through.
The home side pushed their solitary front player up by the Ludlow goal in the second half. The tactic worked as apart from the goal, they forced Henry Downes to pull off some good saves.
