LAST week's letter from Clive Webley, WRVS food operations manager for our area, suggests that he misread the Advertiser article on October 28.
Your informative article made it clear that the meals were late reaching Tenbury, arriving at around 11am rather than at about 9.30am.
There was no suggestion that the meals were late reaching customers.
It would have been better if Mr Webley had written thanking local staff and volunteers for their hard work in getting the meals delivered to people on time, despite their late arrival at Tenbury.
Volunteers are a precious resource and should be praised for the efforts - rather than criticised for voicing their concerns.
