THE work of Worcestershire artist Gill Leighton is going on display in Tenbury Library until the end of the month.
Much of her original work is inspired by local scenes and she enjoys exploring the countryside and depicting it for others to enjoy. She uses paint to create texture and feeling which can be seen in the exhibition with Poppies and Vincent's Field taken from the Tenbury locality.
A huge fan of Van Gogh, Gill tries to interpret the countryside in a way she feels he would have seen it.
