After successfully appealing for inclusion in the Powergen Junior Vase after Evesham were eliminated for fielding an ineligible player, Bishop's Castle Rugby Club were eventually forced to yield the next round tie to their opponents Solihull.
The next round date clashed with a tour the Bishop's Castle club had previously organised the date of which could not be changed. In addition the majority of the club's players were also commited to the tour.
We tried to change the date of the cup tie with the Rugby Football Union, said club spokesman Darren Price, who added that, sadly, as no compromise could be reached they had to forefeit the game.
