THERE'S a bright golden haze on the way for supporters of Tenbury Amateur Operatic Society - next year's production is to be Oklahoma!
The society's AGM has been arranged for Thursday, September 16, in Burford Village Hall, when outgoing director and treasurer Brian Daniels will report on last April's successful production of The Gondoliers.
"We are always looking to welcome new people into the society, both on stage and behind the scenes, and anyone keen to join us can come to the meeting," said the group's secretary Elaine Padwick.
"The society will also be electing officers for the coming year and is seeking a director, treasurer and secretary, as well as committee members, to join the experienced team."
Oklahoma! has been scheduled to run from April 4-9, at the Regal, and rehearsals start soon. For further details about the show or joining the society, contact Liz Weston on 01584 811710 or 810040.
