BBC Radio One described hardcore band Shuriken as "Scunthorpe's best kept secret".
The combination of raw guitar riffs, warlike drums and great vocals comes to Ludlow Assembly Rooms on September 17 for what is billed as "a fantastic night out dancing to a hardcore band that will raise the temperature to boiling point".
As fans of Japanese martial arts movies will know, the band is named after a star shaped throwing weapon.
The gig starts at 9pm and continues until midnight. For tickets, ring 01584 878141.
