A MIX of recent releases and a great film classic feature will show in village halls around south Shropshire this month.
They are part of the enterprising series of screenings by Flicks in the Sticks. For those who have not been to one before, the event is more than just a film show. You can usually buy a glass of wine or a coffee to enjoy during the film.
Among the highlights are Scarlett Johannson as The Girl with the Pearl Earring and Brad Pitt storming Troy. The great classic is the 1950 version of Mary Webb's Gone to Earth, starring Jennifer Jones and filmed in Much Wenlock.
