THE three days of the food festival promise something for everyone. You can see a demonstration by a top cook, sample or buy good food or just wander around enjoying the atmosphere. Here is a taster of some, but by no means all, of the key events:
FRIDAY
10.10am. Dedication and blessing in the Outer Bailey of the Castle.
Ladies in Pigs. About locally sourced pork. All day in Castle Square, also on Saturday.
4pm. Outer Bailey. Judging of young chefs contest.
SATURDAY
9am to 1pm. WI country market off Quality Square.
9.30am to 2pm. Ludlow Sausage Trail.
10am to 4pm. The Festival Loaf.
During pub opening times. Real ale trail, also Sunday.
From 10am. Tasting day, Myriad Organics, Corve Street.
3pm. Waiters' race at the castle.
SUNDAY
9.45am. Dedication and blessing in Castle Square.
10am to 3pm. WI country market off Quality Square.
10am to 4pm. Producers' market in Castle Square.
10am to 5pm. Fresh herb market at the Buttercross.
12.30pm. Slow food lunch, The Feathers Hotel.
3pm. Ludlow RFC v Rugby Valpolicella, Rugby Football Club, Linney.
4pm. Awards and prizes, the Outer Bailey.
