THE Ludlow and Tenbury Wells Advertisers are still growing - thanks to more readers each week buying copies of their favourite local paper.
The latest industry figures reveal that the average weekly sale was 6,490.
This is for the period January to June, 2004 and compares to a figure of 6,415 for the same period last year.
Since 2001, sales of the paper have increased by an average of 355 a week. ABC (Audited Bureau of Circulation) figures are issued twice a year.
Editor Liz Griffin said: "This - the fifth consecutive rise in circulation - is a tribute to the very hard-working and talented team of journalists and advertising staff we have in Ludlow and Tenbury Wells.
"They are committed to improving our coverage of the areas and we are delighted our readers show their support by buying the paper in increasing numbers."
