COUNCILLOR Susan McCormack has missed the point on the issue of housing for the younger generation that they can afford.
The developers are conning the planners by including so-called starter units in their plans, eg the flats and apartments that replaced the police houses in Galdeford.
One unit is for sale at £133,000. It's a joke when I noticed three skilled jobs advertised in The Advertiser at £4.60-£5 per hour.
Some hope of keeping the young here on these prices and wages. We have lost a lot of cheap houses to bad planning and a bad council.
