Bishop's Castle Community College head boy is to to begin work as a Parliamentary research assistant for local MP Matthew Green.
Adam Royle has just left University College London with a first class honours degree in History and has been offered the post at Westminster.
During his three years as a student, Adam has been going to the House of Commons almost every week to help Mr Green and during the summer holidays he has been working at the Lib- Dem office in Bridgnorth.
Adam is the son of Ian and Catherine Royle, from Welsh Street, and has three younger sisters.
As well as his studies and political activity, Adam was also the chorus manager of the University College opera company.

Publicity officer Becky Pritchard explained: "We are urgently looking for folk to accommodate a visiting town crier and, as a special request, we are looking for someone in Bishop's Castle who can provide wheelchair access."

"All support, no matter how big or small, is very much appreciated," said publicity officer Becky Pritchard.
"Without support from residents and businesses, the 10th Michaelmas Fair would have not have taken place this year.
"Since the crisis meeting earlier this year, the support has been overwhelming, with fundraising and astounding sponsorship, in the region of £3,000, with more coming in thick and fast."
BERNARD'S FINAL FAIR: After nine years of dedicated support to the Michaelmas Fair, Bernard Edwards is stepping down after this year's event.
"His departure will be a sad loss after such a long period of making this event such a popular one," said a committee spokesman.
"Bernard has been a solid foundation in the running of the fair, especially by undertaking the role of administrator.
"Now a new person needs to be found to take over his role."
NEEDLEWORKERS' SALE AND TRIP: Bishop's Castle Needleworkers' Group meets every week in the upstairs meeting room at Enterprise House.
Next Wednesday they will have a sale of Laura Ashley fabrics, with everything costing £1 a yard.
Non-members are welcome to pick up a bargain, between 2pm and 3pm.
On Wednesday, September 15, the group visits Abakhan Fabrics, in North Wales.

The coach will leave the community college at 9am. The cost is £7.
MYNDTOWN COUNCIL MEETING: Myndtown Combined Parish Council will hold a meeting in Norbury village hall next Monday, at 7.30pm. Heather Williams, the clerk said: "There will be an update on the position regarding the village shop and an opportunity at the end of the agenda for members of the public to raise matters of concern."
CHAMPAGNE AT HARRY TUFFINS: The winner of a draw organised by the Bishop's Castle French twinning committee recently picked up her prize at Harry Tuffin's supermarket, in Churchstoke.
Polly Fowler chose 12 bottles of champagne as the bulk of her £250 winning voucher, donated by Tuffins.
GRAND FETE: This year's Stone House fete will be on Sunday, at 2pm.
St John Penney has been invited to open the event and music will be by the parish church band and singer Jane Ryan.
A raffle, tombola, stalls, bouncy castle and face painting will all add to the fun.
BALL: Before the summer is even over, Joan Grant is looking forward to next year's Burns Night Ball, on Saturday, January 29.
"There will be more details later," said Joan, "but I know how booked up people get, so it is best to be prepared."
