BELLY dancing comes to Ludlow in October. You won't have to wear a bedleh, the colourful beaded costume, which includes a modest body stocking, loose fitting clothing will be fine for the three sessions with "an experienced Egyptian dance tutor" at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
If you fancy your chances as a rakkasah, the Arabic word for a female dancer, the sessions are on October 17, 24 and 31 and are for beginners and those with intermediate ability.
As the Assembly Rooms says, belly dancing can be for fun, fitness or relaxation and it is ready to arrange more if people like it.
Its autumn classes also offer other dance styles, from salsa to ballroom and tea dancing.
Gardening is an equally active pursuit and there will be three classes, beginning on September 26, by designer Jane Alsopp.
