John Amos & Co report the sale at auction of three lots at The Mortimer's Cross Inn.
A barn at Gladestry Court, with planning permission for conversion into two three bedroom dwellings started on a bid of £120,000 before selling at £190,000.
Later, 575 yards of fishing rights on the River Clun sparked much interest. Bidding began at £2,000 before reaching a sale price of £7,100. The recent drought in the sale of fishing rights may be at its end as the auctioneers have had several enquiries for the lease and sale of more rights.
The final lot, 4.35 acres of pasture land at Marden reached £38,000, representing over £8,700 per acre.
