THE SECOND weekend of the Shrop-shire County Prem-ier League brought defeats for both Church Stretton and Clee Hill.
A below strength Stretton side enjoyed more of the possession at Sutton Albion but apart from one Mike Dupper effort failed to create any real chances on a pitch which was not conducive to good football. The game app-eared to be heading for a draw when the home team scored to win 1-0.
Clee Hill went down 4-0 at Morda.
In a midweek match Craven Arms picked up their first point when they played out a 1-1 draw with Clee Hill. Ironically Arms enjoyed most of the attacking in the first half but Hill went in one up at the break. The second half saw a complete reversal with Phil Edwards grabbing the equal-iser against the run of play.
