There was a good turn-out for Ludlow Cycling Club's ten mile time-trial over the Brimfield course and the top spots are hotly contested as the end of the series draws close. With only four rounds to go, Dover Disney was leading Chris Lines, but with Dover absent from this event there was all to ride for as the best 19 results from 23 events count to the final total.
Young Ewan McDonald showed his potential again with a solid ride and has been improving steadily over the past few races.
The event was won by Climb On Bikes rider Stu Griffiths, followed closely by team-mate Phil Mason. Chris Williams was the fastest Ludlow rider and fourth overall, narrowly pushing Chris Lines into fifth place. Chris and Chris look like two candidates for the series title and will be very close on points come the final race.
