ON behalf of the Tenbury and District Museum Society, I should like to thank all those who attended our coffee morning in July, helping us to raise £150.
The morning was a tremendous social, as well as financial success, helped by the presence of the TV cameras and Tony Francis.
I should like particularly to thank the following for their contributions: The Trustees of the Philip Baylie Charity for the loan of the royal seal; John Weston for the donation of the display case for the seal; Paul Staples who crafted and donated the wooden display plinth.
The seal is now on display in the museum and I hope many people will visit. Entrance is free to all. Opening is Thursdays and Saturdays, 10.30am-1pm, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, 2-4pm.
