HERE we go again! Previously three councillors resigned because they didn't agree with the result of a democratic vote.
This time a councillor resigns from a committee dedicated to the youth of the town over a bag of grass seed (Tenbury Advertiser, August 12).
What is going on? It seems to me that instead of sorting out the differences and getting on with the job they take the soft option and resign.
Come on councillors and start acting on behalf of the community rather than for yourselves.
That is what we elected you to do.
By the way, I will send a cheque to the council for the £20 for the grass seed.
I hope this means the chairman can resume his position on the committee and fulfill his duties towards the children of the town.
Joe Watson, (failed council candidate)
