OLD CHAPEL HALL: An interesting evening was had at the auction of promises.

Fierce bidding for the sporting events, airline tickets and balloon flight resulted more than £1,600 raised for upkeep of the village hall.

Thankyou Roy for "wielding the hammer" and to all who helped, the participants and successful bidders.

CAROL SINGING: A total of £117 was raised for Acorns Hospice.

100 CLUB: The first draw was due in January but share subscriptions have been slow in coming in, so the prizes have not been worked out yet. It's not too late so get yours in. The draw takes place at the next event.
