TWO young musicians, violinist David Brodowski and pianist Christopher Cromar, play a programme full of challenge and excitement at Ludlow Assembly Rooms, on January 31.
Their recital includes Cesar Franck's grand and melodious Violin Sonata and Ravel's fiendishly difficult and exhilarating Tzigane.
There is also music by Dvorak and Wieniawski while one of the greatest violinists of the past, Pablo de Sarasate, is represented by his Concert Fantasy on themes from Carmen.
Polish born David made his debut at the age of five.
Now 27, he has played concertos with two of the world's leading orchestras, the Berlin and the Vienna Philharmonic.
Christopher is also 27. He was born in Scotland and has given recitals throughout the UK, the Continent and the USA.
He has a double career as a concert organist.
Tickets for the concert, at 7.30pm, are £8 or £6 for concessions.
