IN your letters page (Advertiser, January 1) I find I am referred to in a letter from a Mr R J Thomas who furthermore makes the insinuation that I referred to the council engaging in 'comic antics' when I said no such thing.
Considering Mr Thomas's continuing attempts to defend the undefendable - vis--vis the Tennis Club's current position with regard to its dispute with Tenbury Council - I suppose I must expect all sorts of mistakes to occur.
I fully expect 'the fag packet laws' to surface any time now and if this fabled items exists, who knows what it will say.
I await with some trepidation the onslaught from Mr Thomas for 2004, as long as it is the truth that will, I expect, be the best I can hope for.

Bromyard Road,
Tenbury Wells.
