TICKETS have just gone on sale for a Winter Festival of jazz, ska and rock & roll at Ludlow's Bull Hotel.
Landlord Phil Maile has signed up an intriguing list of acts for the Festival, which runs every weekend from December 12 to January 10. Among the highlights, Floyd Earl's Modern Beat Combo will play "some of the best tunes ever written" on Christmas Eve.
At noon on Boxing Day, there will be "a crazed carnival of music", while in the evening Sultana Brothers and Dave Plowman deliver a selection of R&B.
To ring in 2004, New Year's Eve features rock & roll, R&B and 60s classics from the Hoola Boola Boys. At lunchtime on New Year's Day, there will be "Hang Over Blues Jazz" with John Barnes, Martin Litton, Erika Lyons and Bill Duck.
Contact the Bull Hotel on 01584 873611 for further details.
