EVERYONE has heard of the legendary showman and Wild West figure Buffalo Bill. A show at Ludlow Assembly Rooms tomorrow (Friday) looks at his impact on British audiences when he brought his travelling troupe over for a nationwide tour.
Buffalo Bill's company of "Cowboys and Indians" constructed their own temporary villages along the route and astonished audiences with the sheer spectacle of their acts. One of their venues in 1903 was Cardiff and Hijinx Theatre's production I Shot Buffalo Bill! examines their effect on three generations of a family.
The show will appeal to anyone aged 12 and above. It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are still available at £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for groups.
