Football: Ludlow Rovers 6 Craven Arms 0
ROVERS extended their unbeaten league run to five matches when they outplayed Craven Arms to move within three points of the Ironbridge Sunday Premier League leaders Much Wenlock, with three matches in hand.
The game was as good as over at the break with Rovers finding the net four times.
Teenager Jim Bishop opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he headed home a beautiful cross from Malcolm Marsh. Skipp-er Sean Nicholas extended the lead when he charged down a clearance to slam home a superb 25 yarder, and prolific striker Brian Loose bagged a quick-fire brace to take Rovers into a commanding interval lead.
Reduced to 10 men when Wilson Lloyd was dismissed, Rovers wrapped up victory when Doug Dovey rifled home from 30 yards and substitute Kenny Martin danced past four defenders before chipping the goalkeeper.
