Orleton 3 Allpay 5
STRIKER Ben Apperley bagged a brace as Orleton battled back from a two-goal deficit to level at the break against the leaders of the Hereford Times Here-fordshire League Division 2, but were unable to halt the visitor's progress in a very competitive second half.
The title chasers showed their talent with a strong opening half-hour, twice breaking down Orleton's defence to establish a two-goal lead.
Orleton lifted their game and levelled before the break when striker Apperley showed his eye for goal with a well-taken brace.
Play moved swiftly from end-to-end after the restart with the visitors regaining the lead but Orleton again fighting back to level with a superb half-volley from Martin Cadwallader.
Allpay regained the lead mid-way through the half and secured victory with a late goal.
