Luctonians 49 pts Old Laurentians 7
LUCTONIANS moved comfortably into the fourth round of the Powergen Intermediate Cup with a comprehensive win over a team they had already beaten by 50 points in an earlier encounter.
The visitors exerted early pressure but Luctonians took a 28-7 interval lead with tries from hooker Gareth Miles, centre Greg Harwood and two tries from number eight Dwaine Cadwallader, all converted by scrum-half Will Parry.
Paul Willis responded with a try for the visitors, converted by Denzil Evans. Further tries after the break from wingers Ryan Henshaw and Andy Garrod, and a second from Harwood, all converted by the unfailing Parry, completed an easy victory.
