COMEDIAN Robert Newman comes to Ludlow Assembly Rooms with a show that charts the history of a 500-year global terror campaign waged with goodwill to all.
It winds up with "how Britain's philanthropic mission to Iraq has made the world safe for democracy and given us all that optimism about the future we enjoy so much today".
Newman obviously comes from the alternative end of the comic spectrum but, as anyone who saw him in Newman and Baddiel or The Mary Whitehouse Experience will know, he is also bitingly funny.
His show From Caliban to Taliban is touring the nation. You can catch it in Ludlow at 8pm tomorrow, with cabaret seating at £9 (reductions for concessions, groups and students).
