THE Prince of Wales is to visit Ludlow Racecourse on November 24 to honour his long-standing commitment to open the new Jubilee Stand.
Clerk of the course, Bob Davies confirmed the news and said he was delighted to be able to welcome the Prince to Ludlow.
"He was meant to open the stand last December but the weather was too bad for his helicopter to land. We are very pleased we have been able to get him to come this month."
Prince Charles will present trophies to the winning jockeys at Ludlow after the running of the Prince of Wales Amateur Riders Handicap Steeplechase.
