I MUST say what a great idea it would be to put a few floral displays in the market place to cheer up the dull cobblestones, especially when the area is empty.
Why not make the approach roads into Ludlow more inviting with flowers along Coronation Road and the corner of Corve Street, Ludford, Temeside and Galdeford.
I am sure the money allowed would cover it, especially with the crazy idea of making pavements wider and roads narrower with pedestrian crossings here and there.
Give people some credit for crossing the roads where they wish, most motorists are very careful driving through Ludlow, King Street and High Street. The crossing is very good at the top of Corve Street for elderly and disabled, as we are able to cross with plenty of time.
It is money that should be used to keep roads and pavements safe in the ice and snow that would be better used.
