ALL children have talents, and they have a chance soon to turn entertainers and show what they can do.
Any youngster who would like to take part in the annual Ludlow talent contest in November should start thinking about applying for an entry form now.
Organisers of the fund-raising entertainment for Ludlow Assembly Rooms are hoping for more entries than ever this year at the Target Funding LAR event.
In 2001 nearly 100 children from Ludlow and the surrounding areas took part in contests in a variety of categories.
This year a competition for the best skiffle group is an added attraction to a continuing wide range of sections. There will be an opportunity again for junior and senior choristers from the whole county to enter the contest for Shropshire Chorister of the Year, to be judged on the same day.
At the event on November 8 in Ludlow Assembly Rooms, all entrants will get a certificate, and the finalists will be invited to take part in a Never Never Land concert on November 15 at 7.30pm.
Entry forms are available now at the Assembly Rooms box office, or from Mrs Marion Darby at 10, Stanton Close, Ludlow, SY8 2LP, telephone (01584) 873422.
