LUDLOW Town may have only gleaned seven points from nine games in the Midlands Alliance League but their performance at Studley on Monday night belied their lowly table position.
Although losing 2-0 through two disputed goals, the team gave a very good allround performance against the runners-up with Will Hughes in the new position at centre back providing a steadying influence. Unfortunately, Adrian Marsh was sent off 20 minutes from the end which posed problems for the Town against Studley's robust and experience players. Studley scored in each half, despite pleas for the goals being offside.
Manager Les Bristow: "We did well to contain them. We caused them a lot of problems and were disappointed not to draw."
