Springvale Rovers 1 Top Bell 2
SPRINGVALE missed the opportunity to move up to a challenging position in the Kidderminster League Premier Division when they gifted visitors Top Bell their first win of the season with a late penalty.
Vale started brightly and although the final touch was missing they deservedly took a 20th minute lead when John Dolphin swung a free kick into the box and his skipper James Didlick rose to head home the opening goal.
In spite of dominating the rest of the half Vale could not extend their lead.
Vale faded as Top Bell upped their game to equalise on the hour, and with the game heading for a draw rocked their hosts with a winning late penalty.
