Over 130 ladies from 34 clubs took part in the Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club (ladies section) August open Stableford competiton.
Lyn Jinks from Cleobury MOrtimer Golf Club won the First Division with 41 pts, Jill Dunky from Swindon Golf Club scored 38 points to win Division Two and Cleobury's Jean Forrest was the winner of Division Three with 42 points.
Jean Forrest also lifted the Sara Pain Cup awarded to the highest scoring Cleobury Lady.
Helen Kingdon was presented with the Wooden Lady trophy for scoring the most stableford points over 18 holes playing with only woods and a putter, a challenge that proved exceptionally difficult for some of the ladies.

ASHLEY Chesters (Hawkstone Park) is the new Shropshire and Herefordshire Junior matchplay champion after defeating county first team star David Gojka (Shifnal) in a thrilling final at Market Drayton and winning in the grand manner by bagging an ace.
Originally a reserve for the eight-player competition Chesters seized his opportunity to underline his promise as one of the twin counties brightest prospects.
