PROTESTORS are mobilising for next week's crucial district council vote on the Eco-business Park plan.
A poster campaign and a banner by the roundabout at the side of the proposed site were under preparation by members of the Ludlow Plan Action Group, headed by Bob Rose.
Other objections are expected from the Ludford Parish Council, which is chaired by Tom Carter, as well as numerous members of the public.
Bob Rose asked why, with unemployment in South Shropshire at an all time low of 1.1 per cent in July, did Ludlow need so much more business space.
He also queried whether any cost benefit analysis had been carried out and how future workers would get to Sheet Road North.
Other protestors want a business park to be put in Craven Arms instead but £3.8 million of external funding, from Europe and Advantage West Midlands, cannot be transferred to Craven Arms or any other town.
