BISHOP'S Castle Rugby Club begin their North Midlands 1 campaign at Bromyard on Saturday without with services of promising number eight Andy Jarvis.
Jarvis, who is about to start his final year at Birmingham University, has decided that he cannot afford the time to travel for training and matches. However he might well meet up with his former colleagues on the field as he has joined local club Edwardians, who also play in the North Midlands 1.
Under skipper Peter Edwards, the club who had a wonderful season last year when they gained promotion and won the Shropshire Junior Cup, enjoyed great support for the training and coaching sessions, and completed a rigorous pre-season of friendly matches with a win at Cannock.
