I AM writing to you about the photograph of members of the former Townswomen's Guild showing the planting of a tree in Ludlow's Castle grounds in July 1980 (Advertiser, July 17).
My mother was a member of the same and I think that the ceremony was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the starting of the Guild in Ludlow.
Another photograph, published on July 31, of a football team, I would say, judging by the names, is definitely of a Clee Hill Team.
Teams from there have had various names including Knowle Rangers and Clee Hill United.
