Stuart Griffiths of Climb On Bikes RT rode to a superb victory and a personal best time in the latest round of the Ludlow Cycling Club's time-trial league, covering the 25 mile course from Ludlow to Dinmore and back in less than 57 minutes, beating team mate Phil Mason into second place.
Third position went to Hereford Wheelers rider, Peter Murrieri, who has finished consistantly in the top five of nearly every round through the season.
Fastest Ludlow rider was Chris Williams who is trying to get back to first place of the league which he won last year.
Gary McDonald's absence from this round will aid his attempt to win the trophy again this year as every point will count at the end of the season. Some other riders took advantage of the sunny conditions with Greg Smith, Neal Deller and Geoff Hudson all recording personal best times.
