Ludlow Burway Ladies tennis team enjoyed a home league victory when they entertained Hay-on-Wye at the Burway.
The Hereford and Worcester League Match was a game played in good spirit with the home team eventual winners by three rubbers to one.
The team was M Stanton-S Sherbourne and A Healy and T Jordan.
The previous week, Ludlow Ladies were way for their fourth match in the Hereford and Worcester Summer league.
Their match at Wellington proved to be a very tight affair with Ludlow eventually managing to pull off a winning draw decided on a set advantage to Burway.
