IT would be a pity and discourteous to the Shakespeare company if there were not some comment on the letter from Councillor Griffiths to which you gave three quarters of a column.

I doubt if his brain is as miniscule as he claims. Most of us have similar amounts of grey matter. He is entitled to his view but what is odd is the way he rubbishes the play and the performance while apparently claiming not to have understood a word of it.

The purpose of his letter is a mystery. The purpose of mine is to say that six of us including four teenagers enjoyed it the other night.

Much of the acting was thrilling and I expect the majority in the audience would agree. As for the writer of the play, he is big enough to answer for himself.
