LAST Sunday I attended the festival's finale concert and how disappointing it was.

For four months I had been eagerly awaiting to hear one of my favourite groups, The Nolans, in my home town. I bought six tickets for my family and friends. What I got, however, was the result of an appalling abuse of promotional advertising.

The Nolans did not sing a single song all evening. If that were not bad enough, one third of the audience (those to the right of the stage) would not have even known that two of the sisters were stuck in the back corner of the stage doing backing vocals.

I have written to the chairman of Ludlow Festival about this misrepresentation in their advertising. His reply will dictate whether or not he receives my £150 next year.
